Anaheim Ducks Select Ethan Bowen 207th Overall

The Anaheim Ducks traded their 7th round pick in the 2021 or the 2022 draft to Columbus for the 207th pick in this draft.

With that pick, the Anaheim Ducks have selected Ethan Bown with the 207th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.

The 6’2” 170 lb Canadian center put up 31 points in 41 games last year in the BCHL for the Chilliwack Chiefs.

Bowen is committed to playing for the University of North Dakota for the 21-22 season.

Bowen missed some time last season, which could have hindered his development a little bit. Elite prospects list a bunch of concerns with his game in both the offensive and defensive zone. In the offensive zone he tries to make things happen by himself and most of the time that leads to the play dying on his stick, while in the defensive zone, he can be a bit passive.

He is able to use his size well and when he gains muscle, could become a power forward.

Barring any last-minute move or deal, this will wrap up our 2020 NHL draft coverage. Thank you for joining us for it!
