Anaheim Ducks Select Nathan Gaucher with 22nd Pick in 2022 NHL Draft

With their second selection in the 1st round of the 2022 NHL Draft at #22 overall, the Anaheim Ducks selected center Nathan Gaucher from the QMLHL’s Québec Remparts.

He has been lauded for his elite forechecking and his adept stickhandling. And for all the talk around the Ducks getting some big guys to protect players like Zegras, it appears Pat Verbeek and Martin Madden have addressed that to some extent with Gaucher.

Gaucher joins a deepening pool of Ducks forward prospects which includes Mason McTavish, Jacob Perrault and Sasha Pastujov.
